Here's a new post and this time a special post for the special occasion..Valentine's Day! Yes, here's one of the delicious and healthy breakfast smoothies you can make to keep you full and energetic...Strawberry Almond Milk Smoothie!
Since Valentine's Day is approaching and on 15th it happens to be my wedding anniversary so I was actually having a lot of thoughts to make it special.
The first things I made is this Breakfast smoothie or I called it Love Potion π
It's a very healthy breakfast option when you are in a hurry and want to fix a delicious and filling breakfast.
To make it look a bit of lovey-dovey, I drew small hearts,cut them and my kid painted them with crayons! These are not so perfect one's but still an attempt π
I am more of a traditional Indian breakfast kind of person but sometimes this works for me!π
so try this Potion of love and enjoy this Valentine's Day or even anytime for breakfast!
Strawberry Almond Milk Breakfast Smoothie(Love Potion)

Serves:2 Prep Time: 10 Mins Cook Time: 5 Mins
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup, Frozen Strawberries
- 1 No,Banana,fully ripe (I used the small variety)
- 1 & 1/2 Cup ,Almond Milk ( store bought or made at home)
- 1/3rd Cup Honey
- 2 Tablespoon, Basil Seeds / Sabja Seeds
- 1/4th Cup water
Instructions:
- In a small mixing bowl,add the basil seeds and water.
- Let it sit for 10 Minutes.
- In a kitchen blender, add strawberries, 1/2 Cup almond milk,banana and honey. Blend all the ingredients till smooth.
- Add the remaining almond milk and blend once more.
- By this time the basil seeds have bloomed.
- If any water left in the bowl then drain that water.
- Add the seeds to smoothie and serve!
- Enjoy this smoothie for a healthy start of the day!
