Crispy, delicious Avocado and Egg Samosa / Roll are perfect party appetizers and also tea time snack. Crisp samosa is so easy, that just fold it,fry and enjoy hot!
Here I am sharing another interesting post, this time a spicy and delicious Avocado and Egg Samosa Roll.
One wrapper and fold it like samosa or roll and enjoy with a sip of tea!
I regularly get Avocado, tired of making paratha,smoothie,ice-cream,salad,sandwich..hmmm I guess almost everything I could think of ,so thought of making a spicy and crisp fried snack along with egg and spices, wrapped up,fried till golden brown and enjoyed hot with sauce of choice.
To my surprise, this was a HIT at my house. Everyone was skeptical as how the combination of Avocado and Egg would work that too as a fried snack, but the samosa or I would say Avocado Egg Roll turned out so crisp and delicious, that I repented for making only 8 of them and not more.
I have shared a lot of appetizer recipes here. I will list a few for you all to check:
Plus, there are many more recipe for you to check and try. Do share your feedback with me.
Here are few points I would like to share:
- Try to scoop and slice Avocado just before adding to the mix and stuffing in samosa,or the might get oxidized.
- To seal the edges of samosa or roll,in a small bowl add flour and add little water to make a smooth and flour paste. Use this to seal the edges.
- If you simply use water to seal edges then the wrapper might open up when frying and spoil the samosa.
- I have made these little less spicier, but you can elevate or reduce the spice as per your preferences.
- Best way to get perfect crisp samosa or roll is to let the oil heat up,then reduce the flame to medium and then fry them till golden brown.
- I have previously browned the sliced onion,by shallow frying it with a tablespoon of oil
If you do not eat egg, then try the alternative as fried cauliflower instead of boiled egg,or add paneer too, that would be equally interesting.
