- Chicken: Use boneless chicken or boneless thigh pieces,cut into 1 inch chunks.
- Sesame Chicken Sauce: Mix together Soy Sauce,vinegar,sesame oil,cornstarch,brown sugar,water,red pepper flakes,garlic powder and sweet chili sauce.

- Baked Sesame Chicken: Just dredge the chicken pieces in salt,eggs,flour and arrange on a parchment paper,further baking at 375 degree F for 12 to 15 minutes or till the chicken is cooked well then add to the sesame chicken sauce.
- Honey Sesame Chicken: Instead of brown sugar add honey to the sauce mix.
- Sesame Chicken Stir-Fry: Instead of breading the chicken and frying it,just saute onion and garlic in some sesame oil/vegetable oil, add veggies of your choice and then add the sauce mix.Cook it and finally add the chicken pieces,mix well and cook till all the sauce is used and most of it is dried up.
- Spicy Crispy Sesame Chicken: Add more quantity of red pepper flakes in the sauce mix to make it spicy. Also you can add sriracha to the sauce mix if you want.

We have made this exactly as the recipe says and it's great! But i'm diabetic and was thinking maybe I could use xantham gum and eryithritol instead of cornstarch and brown sugar?
ReplyDeleteI made this and it was amazing, but it did take me a lot longer than 30 minutes, but I also quadrupled the recipe, and I'm sort of a slow cook, so that could be it. But still it remains - so, so good. My first time making chicken like this at home.
